The 135mm f/3.5 was in the Fujinon M42 line from the first day: the ST701 manual of 1970 lists six interchangeable lenses and the Fujinon-T F3.5 135mm is one of them. It is a 4-element, 4-group lens with a 49 mm filter, 1.5 m close focus and, by Fuji’s X-mount brochure, 290 g in a barrel 61.5 mm across and 79 mm long; the M42 lens measures within a few grams and millimetres of that. It shares its hood with the 100mm f/2.8 and it stayed in the catalogue, in three engravings, until Fuji left the SLR business in 1985.
