History

The W 180mm f/6.7 is the third of the four lens units made for Fuji’s Panorama GX617, the interchangeable-lens 6×17 camera of December 1993: EBC-multicoated glass in a Copal #0 shutter with its own focusing helicoid and clip-on finder, bayoneting onto the body like the others. On the 17 cm frame it gives about the angle of a 46 mm lens on 35 mm film, which makes it the normal lens of a system whose other units are wide-angles and a telephoto. It focuses by scale to 2.7 m, stops down to f/45, takes 77 mm filters and has no centre filter listed against it, the fall-off that troubles the 90 and 105 not being an issue at this focal length.

That is all the record holds. Japanese Wikipedia’s lens table gives the closest focus and the thread, Steve Walton’s list on Emulsive the aperture, the shutter and the 35 mm equivalent, and neither reviewer of the camera shot with it. No element count, weight, price or production figure has been found.
