Four names do attach to the camera in print — Nuno Katsuhiko, Takeda Hiroshi, Kawamura Atsushi and Ohashi Kazuyasu — but they are the credited authors of Ricoh's 1997 technical report on the GR1, which is a different thing from a design credit and is not treated as one here.
